Abstract

1372761 Roller conveyer C U PEDDING- HAUS 30 March 1972 [17 April 1971] 14984/72 Heading B8A Articles, for example reinforcing bars 1 to be cut by shears 2, 3 are advanced along a roller conveyer by a reciprocating pusher 5. The rollers 7 are either driven in a direction opposite to the direction of advance or in the direction of advance but at a slower speed than the pusher, whereby the bar remains in contact therewith to be accurately positioned at the shears.
