1471507 Injection moulding ribbed pipes DURO PENTA HOLDINGS (PTY) Ltd 21 April 1975 [4 June 1974] 16458/75 Addition to 1402395 Heading B5A [Also in Division F2] A ribbed pipe is moulded as described in the main patent, but is characterized in that the pipe is moulded from foamed and/or filled and reinforced thermoplastics material. Filled low or high density polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene is used to form a closed cell foam reinforced with metal members and glass fibres. The aluminium mould 5 includes an annular copper-berillium heating strip 16.
