Abstract
1470400 Detergent compositions JOH A BENCKISER GmbH 29 March 1974 [9 May 1973] 14160/74 Heading C5D A cleansing composition for use in dish washers comprises (A) 5 to 35% by wt. of a mixture of from 5 to 35 parts by wt. of citric acid or an alkali metal or ammonium salt thereof with 1 part by wt. of cyclohexane 1,2,3,4,5- pentacarboxylic acid and/or cyclohexane 1,2,3,4, 5-pentacarboxylic acid-1-methylene carboxylic acid or an alkali metal or ammonium salt thereof; and (B) 1 to 95% by wt. of a water-soluble alkaline compound. Compounds (B) may be an ammonium or alkali metal hydroxide, silicate, carbonate or bicarbonate. Optional ingredients are (C) up to 5% of a chlorine bleach, e.g. alkali metal hypochlorite or alkali metal chlorisocyanurate; (D) up to 5% of an antifoam e.g. silicone oil paraffin oil, fatty alcohol (1-3) ethylene oxide adduct alkylphenol (1-3) ethylene oxide adduct; (E) conventional additives.
