Abstract

1469234 Metal dithionite composition BOC Ltd 4 April 1974 [6 April 1973] 16542/73 Heading C1A A composition comprises (a) at 50% by weight of an anhydrous metal dithionite and (b) vanillin, ethyl vanillin and/or benzoin as stabilizer. A free-flow agent, e.g. a sodium phosphate, soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, sodium benzoate, EDTA or urea may also be included. The components may be mixed in an organic solvent or using molten dithionite. The dithionite is preferably of Na, K or Ca.
