Abstract

1468730 Cleaning vehicle headlamp lenses CIBIE-PROJECTEURS 7 May 1974 [18 June 1973] 20111/74 Heading A4F A vehicle head-lamp wiper comprises a link B pivotally connected to a wiper arm P, means, e.g. a motor M, for continuously rotating the link B, and a stop A for so guiding the arm P that, on rotation of the link B, the arm P describes a rotary and longitudinal translating movement with respect to the stop A. In the embodiment illustrated in Fig. I the stop A engages in a slot L, in the arm P. In another embodiment a U-section arm P passes through a correspondingly shaped slot L 2 Fig. 3, (not shown) in the end of the stop A, which is acted upon by a spring (T) for urging the wiper element against the head-lamp lens surface.
