Abstract

1464264 Poultry plucking apparatus ELELMEZESIPARI TERVEZO VALLALAT 5 Dec 1974 [5 Dec 1973] 52628/74 Heading A2U An apparatus for plucking poultry comprises a plurality of flexible plucking fingers mounted substantially perpendicularly on the faces of rotatable discs, which discs in turn are mounted on beams articulatedly joined to each other and to a frame, wherein some of the discs are made at least in part of flexible material and on others the plucking fingers are arranged in a circle eccentric to the axis of rotation-Fig. 5. The flexible discs may comprise a rigid sleeve 6-Fig. 2 carrying a flexible part 7 and a ring 8 carrying the plucking fingers. The flexible part may be rubber.
