1460446 Safened chlorate compositions ATLAS PRODUCTS & SERVICES LTD 8 Feb 1974 [9 Feb 1973] 6533/73 Heading A5E A weed killer composition comprises from 40 to 70% of a chlorate salt, e.g. potassium or sodium chlorate, from 15 to 60% of urea and optionally an alkali metal chloride and/or bicarbonate, an anti-caking agent, a wetting agent, a filler, a sequestering agent and a fire depressant. Organic weed killers also may be present, e.g. trichloracetic acid, sodium dichloropropionate, 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-1, 1-dimethylurea (monuron), 3-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)- 1, 1-dimethylurea (diuron), 5-bromo-6-methyl- 3-s-butyluracil (bromacil), 2-chloro-4, 6-bisethylamino-1, 3, 5-triazine, 2-chloro-4-ethylamino- 6-isopropylamino-1, 3, 5-triazine (atrazine), 3- amino-1, 2, 4-triazole (ATA), 4-amino, 3, 5, 6- trichloropicolinic acid, sodium 2-(2, 4-dichlorophenoxy) ethyl sulphate, or 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4D).
