1459186 Coating enamel OXY METAL INDUSTRIES (GB) Ltd 28 Feb 1974 [1 March 1973 13 Feb 1974] 10031/73 and 6538/74 Heading C1M [Also in Divisions B6 and C7] A mild steel substrate is pre-etched in a bath comprising a salt of benzene sulphinic acid (see Divisions C7 and B6), is Ni-electroplated and subsequently enamelled from an aqueous emulsion containing SiO 2 38À7%, Al 2 O 3 7À0%, B 2 O 3 22%, F 6%, CoO 0À4% and CaO 0À9%, followed by firing in air at 800‹ C.
