Abstract
1454843 Pumping liquids by gaseous pressure ECODYNE CORP 15 March 1974 [30 April 1973] 11699/74 Heading F1R A submersible pumping chamber 14 has a pressure gas supply connection 75, a liquid inlet pipe 60 and a discharge pipe 30. A U-tube 34 is connected to the discharge pipe 30 at one end and at the other opens to the upper end of the chamber 14 so that filling and discharge of the chamber is automatic as liquid enters or is discharged from the U-tube. The end 66 of the pipe 60 is at level D below the level C of the end of the U-tube so that initially liquid is forced back into the container 12 to agitate matter in the lower portion of the container.
