Abstract

1454381 Sprayproducers LBCHLER APPARATEBAU KG 14 Nov 1973 [18 Nov 1972] 52940/73 Heading B2F A liquid spraying nozzle comprises a nozzle housing 10, Fig. 1, having a generally frustoconical outlet bore 13 and containing a member 15 secured in the housing and located directly behind the outlet bore 13 and having a plurality of straight channels 20, Fig. 3, the centre of each end of each whirl channel being spaced at the same radial distance from the central axis 21 of the nozzle, the axis of each channel being inclined with respect to said central axis by about 30‹. In the embodiment shown, three channels are provided, being staggered by 120‹ relative to one another. By turning member 15 the angle of the emerging cone of liquid can be varied between 45‹ and 60‹. The member 15, a whirl disc, is secured in the nozzle housing by a beading 18 or by a press fit.
