Abstract
To control weeds selectively in beet crops, in particular for controlling cleavers and wild oats, a composition is used which contains a combination of (1) 3-methyl-4-amino-6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazin-5-one and <IMAGE> In these formulae, R1 is C1-C4-alkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally halogen-substituted phenyl. R2 is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, R3 denotes alkyl, optionally chlorine-substituted alkenyl or alkynyl each of which has up to 4 C atoms, and Y is O or S. R4 is chlorine, methyl, difluoromethyl or ethyl, R5 and R6 are chlorine or fluorine and R7 is hydrogen or sodium. The ratio by weight of (1):(2a) or (2b) is between 1:0.1 and 1:10. <IMAGE>
