Abstract
1339480 Connection boxes DAVIS TRUNKING Ltd 27 April 1972 [18 May 1971] 15509/71 Heading H2E An open-bottom terminal box comprises a frame part 1 with a lid 2 and a lower part 3 having channel shaped extensions 17, adapted to fit over and cover an underfloor trunking 5 in substitution for a portion of a channel-shaped cover 14 of the trunking. Angles 4 extend from the frame part 1 and support nuts (8) and bolts which engage bushes 7 secured to the lower part 3 to secure the two parts 1, 3 together in adjustable relative positions so that the lid 2 can be set flush with the floor. Clips 15 secure the extension 17 and covers 14 to the trunking. One or two shelves 9 are secured to the box by screws (13) to support socket outlets 11 connected to wiring (not shown) in the trunking. Leads are fed from the box via recesses 19 with entry slots 20 in a V-shaped grommet 18 hinged to the cover 2.
