Abstract
1338628 Sewing machine covers Article carriers MEFINA S A 13 Dec 1971 [29 Dec 1970] 57710/71 Headings A4B and A4G [Also in Division D1] Apparatus such as a cine projector or, as shown, a sewing machine 9, is provided with a case 1 having on its upper face 3 an elastically mounted handle 4 of U-shape, the handle arms 12, 13 each having bayonet connectors 11, 14, which can mate with complementary connectors 10 in the upper portion of the apparatus 9. Each bayonet connector comprises a rod 11 carrying the cross pin 14 at one end and a radial arm 15 at the other, the arm being turned into or out of a housing 16 in the handle to lock or unlock the bayonet connection. The handle is resiliently mounted on the upper face 3 of the case by a headed bush 22 and a spring 17. Conical and flat washers 23, 24 are disposed between the head of the bush 22 and the face 3.
