Abstract

878,951. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. July 9, 1959 [July 9, 1958], No. 22043/58. Class 138(1). The arm 6 of a windscreen wiper is connected to the harness 4 by means of a transverse pin 30 carried by the arm and retained in position in slots 28 in flanges 10 on either side of the harness by the shoulder 20 on a leaf spring 18. This leaf spring, which is secured at the end remote from the shoulder 20 to the harness 4, is flexed by the end of the arm 6 to a position in which the pin 30 is no longer retained in position and the harness 4 can be removed when the latter is swung about the pin 30 in a direction away from the arm 6.
