Abstract

1338270 Valves YAMATO SANGYO CO Ltd 29 Oct 1971 50389/71 Heading F2V The closure member 12 having upper and lower cylindrical sliding ports 12A, 12B, an intermediate closure rim 12C and a neck 12D is fluid pressure balanced with respect to the pressures acting in chamber 14A connected to inlet 17 and chamber 14B to connected to outlet 20. As shown the valve is a pressure regulator with an adjustable loading spring 34 and a diaphragm 28 responsive to outlet pressure. Alternatively the closure member may be manually actuated via a screw spindle or actuated by an electromagnet.
