Abstract

1335569 Replaceable injection hot runners K AOKI 9 Dec 1970 [9 Dec 1969 25 March 1970] 19330/73 Divided out of 1335567 Heading B5A The invention relates to apparatus of the same type, Figs. 1-5 (not shown), as described in Figs. 1-5 of the parent Specification 1,335,567. According to the invention, Figs. 6-8, injection from a nozzle 7 is effected at different locations into each of the moulds 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, by the provision on the upper mould part 4b, 4b<SP>1</SP> of each mould, of a plate 52, 52<SP>1</SP> within each of which is replaceably located a hot runner member 51, 51<SP>1</SP> of a different length and which is engaged by the nozzle 7 located adjacent the clamping structure 11. The moulds 4, 4<SP>1</SP> are each mounted to a seating plate 38, 38<SP>1</SP>, which is upwardly displaceable from the plate 2 when clamping is effected by an upwardly acting ram 13, provided with working clearance around a cylinder 17 which effects the horizontal reciprocation of the plate 2.
