Abstract

1334801 Open end spinning SPINNEREIMASCHINENBAU KARL-MARX-STADT VEB 16 March 1971 7000/71 Heading DID An open end spinning device comprises a rotor which receives fibres by suction on a surface which has an adjacent guide for locating the end of yarn being spun and preventing the end rotating around the rotor, the collecting surface in the rotor being limited by air holes in the side wall (as shown) or in the bottom (Figs. 4 and 5 not shown) of the rotor. The guide can be a pin 15 or a hole in the bottom of the rotor. A sieve 16 may cover the air outlet holes.
