Abstract

1334058 Looms NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 15 Dec 1970 59530/70 Heading D1E In a loom the fabric near the fell is reciprocated by a bar 29 over successive beatups so that the weft yarn 17 does not come into contact with the same part of the dents at each beat-up, to prevent wear on the reed. The bar 29 is reciprocated by a cam 22 driven from the cloth roll 24. Other means may be provided for driving the bar 29, and the bar may comprise the loom temples.
