Abstract
1,138,320. Shuttleless looms. LINDAUER DORNIER G.m.b.H. 14 July, 1967 [6 Sept., 1966], No. 32573/67. Heading D1E. Weft mounting needles 1 which move in from both sides of the shed are pressed against the reed 2 by guides 7 which move into the shed to ensure their proper interengagement. The guides 7 push guide ledges 10 on the inserters horizontally and a lip 25 engages the top of the guide to hold it down. The guides 7 are adjustably mounted on a bar 6. The guides 7 move into the shed to contact the needles just before the needles interengage and are withdrawn just after the start of interengagement.
