Abstract

1331465 Pallets for stacking articles E AMROGOWICZ 29 Sept 1970 [30 Sept 1969] 46326/70 Heading B8H A stacking unit comprises a pallet 2 to which stack frames 3 are attached by means of foot strips 3a which engage identical pallet corner pieces 2c by means of pins 3d on the said foot strips engaging in downwardly tapering holes 5 in the corner pieces 2c. Each foot strip 3a comprises a horizontal arm on one portion of which the stack frames 3 are mounted and from another portion of which a pin 3d depends, and a vertical downwardly extending arm which projects from the horizontal arm at a point intermediate the said two portions, said downwardly extending arm bearing against the lateral side of the pallet. The pins 3d are substantially circular in cross-section and are tapered in conformity with the holes 5 and have projections (3e), Fig. 6 (not shown), extending over the pin length for engagement in corresponding recesses in the holes 5. Removable shelves 4 are mounted on shelf supports 6 on the frames 3, the shelves having grooved bottoms, Fig. 8 (not shown). An identical stacking unit may be mounted on holders 3b on the top of the stack frames 3.
