Abstract

1331382 Clothes wringers H F ARENDT 19 April 1971 [16 April 1970] 27326/71 Addition to 1134662 Heading D1A To prevent relative radial movements of the circumferential outer surfaces of a number of compressed air vessels 1 forming a roll of a laundry press, the surfaces are urged together axially of the roll and preferably have interengaging annular recesses and projections 2. The surfaces may be urged together by discs 5 on the shaft 6 of the roll or by prestressing the vessels when securing their hubs to the shaft.
