Abstract
1329059 Two-part couplings GROTE & HARTMANN 13 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 32815/71 Heading H2E A socket 5 for receiving a flat contact blade is made by folding a sheet metal stamping to define two co-operating elongate spring contact arms 51, 52, each formed with a kink 55 near their free ends to provide contact surfaces 56. A resilient arm 53 extends between the contact arms and has attached to its free end or one side edge a projection 54 which in co-operation with projections 8, 9 is used to hold the socket in a bore in a housing, A claw portion 4 is provided for clamping the end of a conductor to the socket. Such a socket may be formed with two pairs of contact arms, a resilient arm 52 and projection 54 being supplied for each pair (Fig. 1 and 3, not shown).
