Abstract

1328959 Valves FIAT SpA 23 July 1971 [29 Jan 1971] 34598/71 Heading F2V The actuation of three-way solenoid pilot valve 9 either vents chamber 2b or connects it to inlet 7 via passages 11, 8 so that pressures on the different diameter piston portions 16, 18 of the valve member 15 cause it either to move upwards so that disc 12 is moved off its seat 14 to connect inlet 7 with work port 5 or to move downwards so that disc 12 sits on seat 14 and passage 21 is opened to connect work port 5 with discharge port 6. Disc 12 is guided by radial projections 12a.
