Abstract
1327038 Dish washing machines WILKINS & MITCHELL Ltd 2 Nov 1970 [27 Nov 1969] 58075/69 Addition to 1211560 Heading A4F [Also in Division D1] In a dish washing or other washing machine with a detergent dispenser comprising a slidable drawer 19, hot and cold water inlets 43 and 44, an outlet 26 communicating through a duct 21 with the tub 12 and a "suck-back" preventing overflow 50, the water from one inlet at least enters the drawer as a spray. As shown the drawer has resilient or pivoted partitions 57 and 60. In use cold water from the inlet 44 flushes pre-wash agent from the drawer compartment 59 below the partition 60 and subsequently hot water from the inlet 43 enters a chamber 35 of the lid from which it discharges through slots 41 on to the walls of the drawer compartment 58 to flush out further washing agent which passes below both partitions 57 and 60.
