Abstract
1326008 Lamp holders PRESSAC Ltd 9 Sept 1970 [15 Sept 1969] 45360/69 Heading H2E A holder for a tungsten halogen lamp 3 comprises a body part 1 of insulting material and contacts 2, each contact (Fig. 3) comprising a channel part 8 receiving a longitudinal rib 3a of the lamp having locating notches 12 and spring fingers 13, and also contact pin-receiving portions 9 which engage the contact pin 10 (Fig. 2) of the lamp when it is inserted within the channel members, retaining the bulb in position, the transverse rib 3b being held located in the notches 12 by the fingers 13. A central projection 11 in the body 1 helps guide the contact pins 10 between the parts 9. Terminal portions 4 of the contacts are passed through slots 5 in the body 1 and are retained in position by the latching tongues 7.
