Abstract

1325915 Selective printing FACIT AB 18 Dec 1970 [18 Dec 1969] 60122/70 Heading B6F A type sector 1 is rotated for character selection by a bail 4 engaging a drive transmitting catch member 12 on the sector arm 2, the catch member 12 being released from the bail 4 when an arresting pawl 7 is moved to arrest the sector 1 in the selected position. The arresting pawl 7 is actuated by a solenoid 9b acting on a lever 9 which carries a pin 9c engaging a control pawl 13 which in the rest position shown holds the catch member 12 in engagment with the bail 4, but which is released when the lever 9 is rooked about its pivot 8, to disengage the catch member 12 from the bail 4. In a modification (Figs. 4-6), the lever (9) engages a projection on the control pawl (16), and the catch member (15) is of different construction.
