Abstract

1325860 Toothbrushes H. MAKOWSKY 6 Aug 1971 37115/71 Heading A4K A toothbrush comprises a handle 12, a pair of bristle carriers 10, 11 pivotally mounted on the end of the handle, a slide 15 slidably mounted on the handle and a pair of flexible members 16, 17 integral with the bristle carriers and inter-connecting the slide and bristle carriers such that longitudinal movement of the slide along the handle causes pivotal movement of the bristle carriers. The bristle carriers, flexible members and slide may be a one piece plastic material injection moulding. Alternatively the whole of the brush may be a one piece plastics material injection moulding with the end of the handle remote from the carriers and the slide inter-connected by a flexible strip of plastics material.
