Abstract

1324764 Caps for bottles L A KALTENHAUSER and A F TSCHUGGNAL 30 April 1971 [30 April 1970] 12537/71 Heading B8T An integral plastics snap-on closure is adapted to be used in existing machines for applying metal crown corks. The outer skirt 2 of the closure has a series of spaced projections 5 which enable the closure to be seated over an opening prior to sealing, and which bend to allow the bottle to be removed from the opening after the closure has been applied. The projections 5 are approximately 0À5 mm. in length and breadth and 0À1 mm. thick.
