Abstract

1323068 Programmed control of batchweighing HOWE RICHARDSON SCALE CO Ltd 10 Nov 1970 [12 Nov 1969] 55346/69 Heading G3N An automatic batch weigher, to which a number of materials are fed in succession, incorporates a transducer producing a signal representing the weight of a delivered material, a pre-settable selection device from which signals representative of selected weights of material can be derived and a feed cut-off device which is operated by a control circuit when the actual weight signal is equal to a pre-selected weight signal. The weigher is connected to an electronic solid-state digital logic controller whereby delivered of material is permitted when interlock and supply signals are present and inhibited, to allow manual operation only, for over or under-weight. Facilities are provided for retaining data when power is cut-off.
