Abstract
1320774 Nickel base alloy CABOT CORP 22 June 1970 [20 June 1969] 30107/70 Heading C7A A precipitation strengthened alloy comprises:- the balance, apart from impurities such as:- Al + Ti up to 1À4% C up to 0À15% Co up to 10% Fe up to 20% Nb up to 25% of the Ta content and up to 2À5% in total of B, Cu, Mg, Mn and Si, being Ni. Up to 50% of the Ta content may be replaced by V. The alloy may be forged, homogenized at 2200 F., solution treated at 2150 F., cold worked with interanneals, solution treated at 2150 F. quenched and aged at 1100-1600 F.
