Abstract

1317804 Adjustable Beds TRIOTEAM A S 31 July 1970 [1 Aug 1969] 37128/70 Heading A4J In a bed having three articulated frame sections 10, 12, 14 supported on a rigid frame 40 for movement from a coplanar horizontal position to the "Trendelenburg" position or to the "chair"position, the back and leg supports 10, 14 are supported on rollers 52, 62 secured to members 50, 60 pivotally secured to the rigid frame 40 and adjustable about their respective pivots 48, 56 by the longitudinal displacement relative to the bed of a bar 82 connected via pull members 78, 80 and draw chains 70, 72 to the adjustable members 50, 60 respectively. Movement of the bar 82 is effected by a screw threaded rod 84 manually operable or, connected via reduction gearing 90 to a reversible electric motor 88. (for Figures see next page)
