Abstract

1314403 Floating docks MITSUI SHIPBUILDING & ENG CO Ltd 28 Aug 1970 [30 Aug 1969] 41481/70 Heading B7S A floating dock comprises a series of separate buoyancy tanks 4 guided on piles 8 and linked together at 7 so that they are free to move vertically relative to one another without substantial lateral or longitudinal movement. The corners of each tank are provided with stabilizing tanks 9. According to a modification (Fig. 4, not shown) ratchet jacks or winches are provided to raise the tanks up the piles.
