Abstract

1312870 Mechanical garages FRIED KRUPP GmbH 19 April 1971 [4 March 1970] 22962/71 Heading B8E In a mechanical garage of the type in which vehicles are raised to a storage level and transferred thereto on platforms 7, Figs. 1 and 2, which are moved horizontally, a turntable 9 is provided so that the vehicles may be rotated through 180 degrees to facilitate driving out. When the vehicle has been driven into a drive in cabin 1 and correctly positioned, the driver gets out and operates a switch after which the subsequent parking is automatically effected. The vehicle is automatically returned facing the exit when the driver operates an unpark switch. To avoid waiting, the unpark switch may be remote from the garage on the approach route.
