Abstract
1311549 Sewing machines HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS AB 16 Dec 1970 [16 Dec 1969] 59788/70 Heading D1G A portable sewing machine has auxiliary parts such as an accessory tray 6, an electric speed controller 10 and a work support table 14 arranged to be stowed against and/or between the parts of the machine within a case 18. The tray 6 fits between the free arm 5 and the base 4 and has a wall 7 at an obtuse angle to its back wall which abuts a corresponding wall 8 of the machine when in its correct orientation. The controller 10 has a recess 21 for a flex and fits between the top arm 3 and the free arm 5 against the pillar 8. The table 14 has an edge (15) (Fig. 2, not shown) which engages slidably a corresponding edge (16) of the pillar 8 when stowed to hold the table against the rear faces of the arms 3 and 5 with the table apron 22 abutting the ends of the arms 3 and 5. The case 18 has an opening 19 through which the foldable machine handle 2 may project and an open bottom with internal edges which mate with the edges of the base 4.
