Abstract
1479118 Sewing machine cases SINGER CO 11 Sept 1975 [10 March 1975] 37377/75 Heading A4B A sewing machine 10 with a bed 14 is releasably secured in the base 30 of a carrying case firstly by at least one insert 20 secured, e.g. by a screw 19, in a hole 18 in the rear of the bed 14 and having an extension 22, 23 engaged through an aperture 38 in the rear wall 37 of the base 30 to be disposed beneath a peripheral top wall 31 of the base 30, and secondly by a latch 40 pivotably mounted, as at 41, on the front wall 35 of the base 14 for movement to and from a position in which it overlies the work supporting surface 15 of the bed 14.
