1310499 Ignition systems and devices ASSOCIATED ENG Ltd 23 June 1970 [28 March 1969] 16502/69 Heading F1B In an ignition device of the type in which mixture is ignited in a chamber 17 and a flame is projected through an orifice 12, the ignition is started by a high voltage EHT applied to an electrode 18 which causes breakdown of the gap and discharge from another source V connected across the electrodes 11, 14. Modified arrangements for applying the high voltage and an ignition system for use with the device are described.
