Abstract

1309078 Cooking ranges G R EVERSON & SONS Ltd 16 March 1970 [12 June 1969] 29904/69 Addition to 1183202 Heading F4W The oven disclosed in Specification 1,183,202 incorporating a closed air circulating system within the cooking space is modified in that the rear plate 1 is provided with elongate slots 6 through which air from the fan (not shown) located adjacent a central aperture 2 can be passed back into the cooking space. Each slot 6 is provided at its bottom edge 7 with a baffle (not shown) extending from the rear plate towards the back plate of the oven. There are no marginal gaps at the top and sides of the rear plate, only at the base, for air recirculation back into the cooking space, due to the presence of members 3, 4 and 5 which when folded have apertures 8 therein engaging with lugs on the back plate. A thermostat for controlling the temperature of the oven is arranged behind the rear plate on studs protruding from the back plate.
