1308560 Expanded metal; girders DE WENDEL & CIE SA 6 Aug 1970 [6 Aug 1969] 38006/70 Heading E1K A structural sheet-metal strip member, Figure 1a, has a cross section of a geometrical shape having two or more sides 1-3, at least one of which has been slit and expanded to form a lattice; the sides are being joined solely by continuous corner strips 3a, 3b. The U-sectioned strips may be joined together to form a closed girder, Figure 4. Alternatively the member may be of Y, L or # cross-section.
