1300315 Corticosteroid treatment SYNTEX CORP 10 Aug 1970 [11 Aug 1969] 38462/70 Heading A5B Lactation by ruminant domestic animals; e.g. cows, may be increased by administration of 0.0015-0.07 Ág per day per kilogram of bodyweight of 6α, 9α-difluoro-16α-methylpregna-1,4-diene-11#, 17α, 21-triol-3, 20-dione. The composition may be administered orally in the animal's food. It may be in unit dosage form. In Example 5, sustained release tablets of cylindrical shape comprise polyethylene glycol, glycerol monostearate, barium sulphate and 16α, 9α-difluoro-16α-methylpregna-1,4- diene-11#, 17α, 21-triol-3, 20 dione.
