Abstract

1,214,712. Contraceptive preparation. SCHBRING A.G. 27 Feb., 1968 [28 Feb., 1967], No. 9347/68. Heading A5B. A contraceptive preparation suitable for parenteral administration or administration by implantation comprises, in unit dosage form, from 0.5 'to 100 mg. of a gestagen in admixture or conjunction with from 0.5 to 500 mg. of an oestrogen. The preparation may be used to treat domestic animals and the oestrogen and the gestagen may be administered simultaneously or separately. Many suitable oestrogens and gestagens are specified.
