Abstract
1399953 Light guides AGA AB 6 April 1973 [20 April 1972] 16580/73 Heading G2J At least one end of a bundle of optical fibres 5,6 has adhered to it by an optical cement 11 a glass disc 10 the free face of which bears an antireflection coating 12. Reflection losses are thereby reduced. The fibre bundle may be branched at the other end, see Fig. 1, (not shown) and conduct light from a source (4) to a photo-cell (7) both at the branched end, via a lens (3) and reflector (2) at the end 10.
