Abstract
1399760 Knives; handles WILKENS BREMER SILBERWAREN AG 24 Nov 1972 [4 Dec 1971] 54359/72 Headings B4B and B4K A knife, e.g. a table knife, comprises a blade 12 having a tang 13 passing through an aperture 16 formed in a sheet metal cover 15 which, as shown in Fig. 2, is of inverted V-section, and has its edges flush with a handle 10. The handle is formed from stamped-out metal halves providing a hollow structure into which material, e.g. lead, is introduced in order to secure the tang.
