Abstract

1398351 Bending flanged workpieces K YASHIRO 1 March 1973 9974/73 Heading B3E A workpiece comprising a central web 13 and two parallel flanges 11, 12 at opposite edges thereof is bent by moving the workpiece past rollers 20a, 21a, pressed against the inner faces 11<SP>11</SP>, 12<SP>11</SP> of the flanges. In the arrangement shown, further rollers 20b, 21b engage the outer faces of the flanges, and there is a set of six rollers as shown on each side of the central plane containing the web 13.
