1397772 Pile fabrics BRUNSWICK CORP 21 June 1972 [21 June 1971 5 Jan 1972] 32294/ 74 Divided out of 1397771 Heading D1K A moulded pile fabric has a backing 10 with integral pile fibres with a base dimension D of 0.5 to 12 mils, a height H at least five times the dimension D and a cross-sectional area at the wearing surface 20 of between 10% and 80% of the total area. The fibres may be inclined, of shapes other than circular, the fabric may be laid on a base and have a further backing (Figure 1, not shown).
