Abstract

1396800 Registering webs AUTOMATIC DRUCKMASCHINENFABRIK DR W HINNIGER UND SOHNE 21 Dec 1972 [23 Dec 1971] 59127/72 Addition to 1396547 Heading B8B [Also in Division B6] A printing machine as claimed in claim 9 of Specification 1,396,547 has a perforator cutter 26 and a web-control loop adjusted by a motor 109 which is connected to the photo-electric sensing head 29 associated with the motor 34 of the main web-drawing device 5 to ensure coincidence of the perforations with printed register marks. A fine adjustment is provided by feeding the output of two sensors 125 and 126, associated with the web register marks and a mark on the perforator respectively, to motor 109 via control device 131. The perforator may be roller mounted as shown or may be a punch.
