Abstract

1396881 Finishing window surrounds J P HOLT and W TOMLINS 11 July 1972 [14 April 1971] 9339/71 Heading E1B Plasterboard is trimmed around a window opening by means of a metal, e.g. galvanised, strip 10, of channel section, with one flange 12 perforated to form a plaster key, and the other flange 13 having tongues 14 cut out therefrom and arranged co-planar with the web 11 to provide fixing means. As shown in Fig 3 the plasterboard 20 closes the bottom of the space between a timber lintel 17 and' the window frame, and at the edges of the window the plasterboard runs between the window frame and the inner skin of brickwork, (Fig 4, not shown).
