1396376 Door operating mechanism SIEMENS AG 18 Aug 1972 [21 Aug 1971] 38752/72 Heading E2M A door operating mechanism comprises a bar 1, for attachment to a door, which is moved longitudinally by a toothed wheel 9 driven by a motor 2, the bar being guided on rollers 15 which are mounted on a plate 16 pivotable about the axis of the wheel 9. The bar 1 is of U-section and the wheel 9 engages a chain 10 tensioned by clamping bolts 11 within it. Cams 13 are adjustably positioned on the bar to operate motor limit switches 14 mounted on the plate 16 and the wheel 9 is mounted on a shaft between friction discs 19; being adjusted to slip if the movement of the door is obstructed.
