Abstract
1395575 Fastening Flexible Covering Sheets to a Surface VELCRO FRANCE 5 May 1972 [5 May 1971] 21162/72 Headings E1W and E2S A wall or similar surface is covered with a flexible sheet by means of an elongate strip having a body portion of channel shaped cross-section which is located within a groove in the wall and two substantially coplanar surfaces mutually separated by the channel and carrying fastening elements which interlock with a face of loop pile, plush, fluff, velvet, felt like cellular or like on the flexible sheet. The fastening elements of the strip may be carried on flanges e.g. 21 attached to the body portion and extending towards or away from one another from the body portion or they may be located on the end faces of two side walls of the body portion which define the channel. The body portion may carry barbs or the like to engage the sides of the groove in the wall.
