Abstract

1394896 Boxing glove V PETRUSEK 4 July 1972 [6 July 1971 24 Feb 1972] 31165/72 Heading A6M A boxing glove or pillow made from resilient sheet material comprises an open ended tubular sleeve 11, a casing 14 encompassing said sleeve defining an air chamber 17 and attached to the sleeve so that at least one end thereof remains open to permit insertion of a fist and an air valve (18, not shown) in the casing 14 for inflation of the chamber whereby on inflation the sleeve forms a constriction between the ends thereof to firmly enslave and and resist movement of the user's fist. In a second embodiment (Fig 6, not shown) a diaphragm (34) is incorporated across one end of the sleeve to close that end and the casing includes a separate end chamber connected by a hole (34) to the main chamber.
