Abstract

1388300 Wig cap LESLIE NG [trading as SOUTH CHINA WIGS CO] 28 June 1973 [17 Aug 1972] 38492/72 Heading A4V A wig cap is made of hexagonal mesh net in synthetic or natural fibre in halves 1 with stiffening members 2,3 sewn to the peripheral region 4 to lie at nape of the head and behind the ears of a wearer. The stiffening members comprise fine mesh net with fabric sewn to part of its edge to enclose resilient stiffening members 8. Elastic tabs 5 adjust the cap size by means of attached pieces of material with surfaces comprising a multiplicity of hooks which engage a selcted position with counterpart hooks on the surface of the peripheral part 4. Press-studs or hooks and eyes may be used as alternatives for adjustment fastening. Two or three parallel strips 6 of elastic material extend from the peripheral region over the crown of the cap to an opposite peripheral location and are joined together by short transverse elastic strips 7.
